Singer Lauryn Hill to perform live show at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas' Boulevard Pool

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is proud to announce that American recording artist, musician, producer and actress, Lauryn Hill, will perform a show at The Boulevard Pool on Friday, May 13th. The show date at The Cosmopolitan is one stop on Ms. Lauryn Hill's 19-city Moving Target: Extended Intimate Playdate Series. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m.

Hill's prolific music career began in the Mid 90's as a member of the band “Fugees”. The band's 1996 album, "The Score," was certified six times platinum and took home two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal and Best Rap Album. Hill launched her solo career in 1998 with her now classic debut, "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." The album earned Ms. Hill a record-setting 5 Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and Album of the Year.

The album was also nominated in several categories at the NAACP Image Awards, including Outstanding Female Artist, Outstanding Album, and Outstanding Song for both "Doo Wop (That Thing)" and "A Rose Is Still A Rose." The album has appeared on countless "Best Of" lists, including Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time," SPIN's "Top 100 Albums of the Last 20 Years," Vibe's "150 Albums That Define the Vibe Era," and the Associated Press' "10 Best Albums of the 1990s."
