The Improv Comedy Club gets Five-Year Extension at Harrah's Las Vegas
The Improv, the popular comedy club at Harrah's Hotel and Casino, has signed a five-year extension with Caesars Entertainment, ensuring center-Strip laughs through at least 2015.
Thanks to this contract extension, the Improv is now the longest running comedy club in Las Vegas. Known for its rotating cast of finest comedians, The Improv will also bring back some of the most popular comedians and biggest names from its storied past. The first of The Improv alumni to take the Vegas stage is Jay Mohr who will perform June 24, 25 and 26.

Singer Lauryn Hill to perform live show at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas' Boulevard Pool
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is proud to announce that American recording artist, musician, producer and actress, Lauryn Hill, will perform a show at The Boulevard Pool on Friday, May 13th. The show date at The Cosmopolitan is one stop on Ms. Lauryn Hill's 19-city Moving Target: Extended Intimate Playdate Series. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m.
Hill's prolific music career began in the Mid 90's as a member of the band “Fugees”. The band's 1996 album, "The Score," was certified six times platinum and took home two Grammy Awards for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal and Best Rap Album.
